Divine Elements Belly Dance Company

Rania began her Belly Dance journey in 2001 as a student of Shamira at Belly Dance Arabesque in Adelaide. Training first in the Classical and Folkloric styles and then moving into Tribal Style and Fusion Belly Dance. Her love for Danse Orientale has taken her nationally and internationally to train with some of the best teachers and performers in the art form including Hadia, Randa Kamal, Kazafy, Carolena Nericcio, Paulette Rees-Denis, Rachel Brice, Sharon Kihara, Ariellah, Elisabeth Strong, Amy Sigil, Devi Mamak and Melusina. In 2009 she attained her General Skills and Teacher Training Certifications with Carolena Nericcio of Fat Chance Belly Dance.
In 2010 Rania travelled to America to perform and attend workshops and training in Colorado, San Francisco and to Tribal Fest 10 in Sebastopol California, where some of the top innovators in Tribal Belly Dance originate.
Rania has been performing professionally since 2007 as a Cabaret, Tribal and Fusion Belly Dancer. Her experience includes many shows, corporate, social, wedding and festival events including the Adelaide Fringe, in Australia and internationally. She is the Principal and Tribal Teacher at Belly Dance Arabesque in Adelaide South Australia and is the Founder and Director of Divine Elements Belly Dance performance company.
Her passion for the art of Danse Orientale in all its forms fuels a constant quest for more knowledge and skill which she enjoys sharing in her teaching and performing.

Sarah became infatuated with Tribal Belly Dance in 2005 and has been busy perfecting and refining her technique ever since. Fortunately, she also likes to travel and in an effort to learn more about this dance form she has travelled both interstate and overseas to train with leading teachers such as Ansuya, Rachel Brice, Samantha Emanuel, Sharon Kihara, Kami Liddle, Amy Sigil, Ariellah, Caroleena Nericcio, Paulette Rees-Denis, Devi Mamak, Melusina and Shamira. In 2009 she attained her General Skills Certification in American Tribal Style with Carolena Nericcio.
In 2009 Sarah travelled to Blackpool, England to attend workshops at Raqs Britannia with the Belly Dance Super Stars. In 2010 she went to America to perform and take part in workshops and training in Colorado, San Francisco and also attended Tribal Fest 10 in Sebastopol, California.
Sarah is a member of Adelaide's Divine Elements Belly Dance Company and Silver Phoenix Tribe and has been teaching Tribal Belly Dance at Belly Dance Arabesque in Adelaide South Australia since late 2009. Her performance experience includes a number of shows and festivals in Adelaide, Interstate and America including Divine Elements' 2010 and 2011 Adelaide Fringe Shows.
Sarah is dedicated to her art, continually challenging herself in dance and choreography. Her specialty is Tribal Fusion and her dance interests have taken her into Contemporary and Hip Hop Fusion. What originally began as an interest in costuming has manifested into something much more, a dedication to her art. She is looking forward to where ever her dance journey takes her.

Sarah Maeer
 

Sarafina began dancing at the age of 3 and over the next 15 years trained in Calisthenics, Jazz ballet and Modern Dance. She began Belly Dancing in 2002 and truly fell in love with the style, rhythms, music and costumes. Her love of Belly Dance has taken her all over the world to train with Master Teachers and Performers including Kazafy, Dawlat, Farida Fahmy, Mahmoud Reda, Faruk Mustafa, Aida Nour, Asmahan Snow, Tito, Serina Ghali, Amera Eid, Trisnasari Fraser, Elenie Vismas-Smith and Shamira.
In 2007 and 2008 Sarafina travelled to Egypt and then to Morocco to perform and to train with Master Teachers and perfect her folkloric style. She spent time in Cairo , Luxor & Marrakesh immersing herself in the culture and history of the dance.

Sarafina has been performing professionally since 2003 both as a troupe member and soloist with various ensembles. Her experience includes cabaret shows, weddings , corporate and social events in Adelaide , Interstate and overseas. She is a member of Divine Elements Belly Dance and was part of their Adelaide Fringe Shows in 2010 and 2011. She continues her studies with Shamira at Belly Dance Arabesque in Adelaide .
Sarafina has a passion for Folkloric Middle Eastern Dance and specialises in Saidi and Khaleegy. Her love for the dance is expressed in her performance, sharing her joy with the audience. The connection she has with Belly Dance will continue her drive to learn more about its intricacies and to share her passion with others.
