The story takes place in a mythical land in Asia along the Silk Road. The music and dance reveals an array of different techniques and styles. A mysterious and fantastic voyage that takes you from the present to the past and the future. The Dragon Flute is based on the 5 elements : Fire, Water, Wood, Metal (gold) and Earth. The elements of nature are interdependent and help or nourish each other as well as destroy one another. In order to have peace and harmony the 5 elements must have a balance. As we see today, the balance is being destroyed, thus the world is suffering. The Dragon Flute is the symbol of "prana" or the "life breath" whose sweet sound breathes life into the elements. It is a continuous battle between good and evil that has been going on since the world came into existence. Origninal music is composed by Ron Korb, the Flute Shaman, whose music has inspired people all over the world.
