Vakhrameevs Workshop was founded in 1995 year by Anna and Sergei Vakhrameev .
Anna Vakhrameeva was born in Russian Sibirian town Chita, well known for being the imprisonment place of Russia, Her husband, Sergei Vakhrameev was born in Buryatian capital, close to Mongols Ulan-Ude and is a Russian Christian Orthodox Buryat.

They organized 2 big festivals from 1995-1998 in Altai mountains where they opened the Altai Arts Lab in 2000 far away from civilization.

The Russian Cannon

Based on Anton Chechovs short story "The Student" about a young student of seminary who returned to his mortherland village the night before the Easter with many problems in his life.

He saw a fire on the edge of his village, and two peasant women who were sitting and warming themselves near the fire. Sitting down he told them the story of the same fire at the same night 1900 years ago at the outskirts of Jerusalem where Jesus Christ was sitting and betrayed.

Suddenly the women started to cry. They felt his pure emotions and good will.

After this meeting the mood of the student completely changed, The student changed. He saw it as a miracle. The story repeats itself in different ages and in the ordinary lives of ordinary people.

Sergei Vakhrameev shows the Russian Soul that lives in the great evil as well as in the great holiness.
