Odissi
Classical Indian Dance originated over 1200 years ago in the district of Orissa.

It was danced by the Maharis, handmaidens of God, who devoted themselves and their lives to the deity. Sculpturesque poses reminiscent of the temple carvings, seductive and beguiling eyes, and elegant hand gestures (mudras) can be seen in the dance. A very lyrical and sensuous form of dance.

The dance leads you to the exotic and mystic land of India where the Gods and Goddess are still alive.
