Hiromi started dancing Butoh after her training with jazz and contemporary dance. She also performed in several productions of Kobayashi Saga + NOSURI as one of their members.

Hiromi is now the co-leader of a noise dance unit, maguna-tech, with a noise performer/ dancer, Keisuke Takechi as well as the co-leader of a Butoh dance unit, Kohaku, with a butoh dancer, Yuko.

She also directs her solo performances and collaborates with other artists.
